About the Canine Good Citizen Program
This is a one-day course, around 30-45 minutes, with a fee of $15. This is a pass/fail test, and
formal training is strongly recommended prior to taking it. If your dog fails, there is a waiting period to retake the test. The Canine Good Manners class is the best way to prepare your dog for becoming Canine Good Citizen certified (*completion of this course does not guarantee passing the CGC test*). This is a 7-week program for one hour each week, costing $140.
Prospects should prepare for the 7-week course and the costs, as the Canine Good Citizen Certification is required before move-in.
